After Chris passed away in 2006, in order to pay medical bills, I sold over 17 tons of presses & equipment from our collection, including over 50 cabinets of type. These tools & equipment found new homes in shops throughout the Pacific Northwest, as we became the Johnny Appleseed of the printing community. Our beautiful type foundry was sold intact to dear friends in Portland Oregon who established the inspired & inspiring CC Stern Type Foundry.
