After Chris passed away in 2006, in order to raise funds, I sold over 7 tons of presses from our collection & close to 40 cabinets of type. These tools & equipment found new homes in shops throughout the Pacific Northwest, as we became the Johnny Appleseed of the printing community. Our beautiful type foundry was sold intact to dear friends in Portland Oregon who established the inspired & inspiring CC Stern Type Foundry.
